Craft parties with afternoon tea
Posted on: October 29, 2013
The Menders know that a good hen loves her afternoon tea and there’s scarcely a craft hen party goes by when we’re not in an adorable tea salon like Metro-deco in Brighton or Tea Party in Tufnell Park sampling gorgeous delights from a crammed cake tier plate.
Pretty crockery and cute tea-cups are part of the story and they’re perfect props for our retro-inspired craft party workshops such as quilt- or bunting-making, recalling days of sunny village greens and vicarage tea parties.
From dainty sandwiches cut crustless, of course, to finger cakes dripping with lemon and demerara sugar to the Frenchiest of macarons made by Bee with aspirations to be a pastry-chef instead of a craft teacher and owner of the dandiest craft workshop company this side of the moon!
If you’re keen to drink like they do in the briefest of encounters but with the maximum fun then contact Bee at Makedomenders to discuss your craft party plans with afternoon tea!
