A Rosie future – craft baby shower quilt-making
Posted on: April 30, 2012
She may not be born yet, but Rosie has a very lovely group of friends and family already who joined her mummy-to-be to decorate squares of lovely print fabric to contribute to her very own keepsake quilt.
Baby showers do involve beautiful present giving and Rosie’s shower was no exception but it was also an opportunity to create something memorable of the afternoon.
London is already beginning to look spring-like and leafy and somehow an element of this entered into the decorating as hearts and flowers were added to the squares.
The Menders are just loving all these quilt-making craft parties and it continues to give as Bee takes the squares home to her studio in the eaves and stitches them together into a charming quilt. With the baby showers we pad and line them with coordinating fabric and this service is also available to our craft hen parties.
If you think that this the sort of party you might like to organise for a baby already born or just about to be then please contact the Makedomenders and we’ll help with your plans with quotes and advice for your very own craft baby shower.
