beginners knitting class at high tea

Posted on: December 9, 2009

The beginners knitting class at High Tea at the weekend went swimmingly, helped along by copious cups of tea provided by the ever helpful and smiling staff. High tea also served up a variety of home made cakes which were divine – I had luxuriously naughty clotted cream scones with strawberry jam.

The new knitters seemed to pick up the technique quickly and all learned enough to go away with a simple cowl or baby hat started, I was very impressed and hope they all continue with the relaxing craft.
More classes are set to be booked in the new year, both at High Tea and other venues, so keep an eye on the blog for more info, or drop us a line and we will send you an email when they are confirmed.
Thanks to beginner knitter Jazmin for taking the pictures.
